Cotton Candy & Pineapple Mocktail for Kids
With New Year’s Eve just around the corner, we have an incredibly light and fun way to include your children in the festivities with a fun kid mocktail featuring cotton candy and pineapple soda. This delightful, sweet and fizzy kids drink is sure to be a hit with any kid or adult who prefers a sweet, non-alcoholic sip.
This cotton candy and pineapple soda drink is a fun, playful and simple way to include your children in holiday celebrations, or to serve up at a party just for them!
To lighten the sugar content of this you can use 100% pineapple juice and have a drink that is just as tasty-just without the fizz. Kids of all ages will enjoy watching the light and fluffy cotton candy instantly liquefy and disappear into the soda as it is poured into the glasses.
My niece and nephew love these!
We were able to easily find the cotton candy at a party supply store, it came with different colors in the package so you can create different color and flavor combinations for these special guests. You can also try your local grocery store (especially if making something along these lines in the summer months).
We picked up the pineapple soda in the international aisle at our grocery story, they have some great unique flavors to choose from!
Hope you love this fun mocktail for kids—happy New Year!
Cotton candy and pineapple mocktail for kids!
Yield: 1 beverage
- A handful of yellow cotton candy
- Pineapple soda or pineapple juice
Fill small juice glasses ahead of time with yellow cotton candy (or any other color that works with the soda or juice you’ve chosen).
Wait until the kids are around to watch as you carefully pour the pineapple soda over the cotton candy. The wet soda will liquefy the cotton candy and very likely cause the glass to overflow. Plan for this ahead of time and carefully choose where you’ll mix these so you won’t have to think about cleaning up a sticky floor or table later on!
