Christmas ornament craft tutorial
Remove end from ornament and pour approximately 1 Tablespoon of Mop & Glo into the globe. Swirl around to cover the entire interior and fully drain the rest out.
Pour a generous amount of red glitter into the globe. Cover the hole of the ornament with your finger and shake to cover the interior with glitter. Pour the excess glitter back into its bottle so there is no waste. Replace the top of the ornament.
Glitter the square embellishment on your handmade ornament.
I used a square plastic piece that I had left over from a scrapbooking project, but you can always cut out a piece of cardboard and use it. Lay this part of the project on a piece of paper for easy cleanup. Brush Mod Podge on the embellishment using your paint brush and pour the white glitter onto it. Tap off any excess glitter onto the paper so that you can easily pour the excess glitter back into the vial.
Allow this to dry for about 15 minutes before you pick it up to work with it. Plug in your hot glue gun while you wait.
Cut the black ribbon to go all the way around the ornament with a 1/2″ overlap. Using your paint brush and Mod Podge, secure the ribbon around the ornament. I only dabbed Mod Podge in a few places, not the length of the entire ribbon. Use your hot glue to glue the embellishment on the front of your easy Christmas ornament craft to finish off your project. Tie a piece of white yarn to the loop at the top and hang on your tree.
I hope you love this easy Christmas ornament tutorial — Merry Christmas!
