Give Your Skin What It Craves

My kids were excited to see that our lawn was crispy with frost this morning. I was a little less enthusiastic, because I know that cold weather means that soon enough, my skin will begin to suffer. I find that the older I get, the more I have to struggle to keep my skin soft and moisturized through the cold winter months. That’s why I was excited to have the chance recently to test a new product from Vaseline called Intensive Care Deep Moisture Jelly Cream.
Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Jelly Cream moisturizes skin by 250% for 18 hours and also as a great lotion for those with eczema. It even holds a National Eczema Association seal of approval.
I have what I would consider normal dry skin, but even normal dry skin can be so uncomfortable and even painful. Needless to say, I was very interested in the claim that this product could moisturize skin by 250% for 18 hours! Most of the lotions and creams I’ve been using don’t have that kind of staying power.
I decided to give this product a whirl immediately following my evening shower. After thoroughly drying my skin, I applied the Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Jelly Cream to my arms and legs, giving special attention to the areas that tend to be the the most dry.
The first thing I noticed was the fabulously light and creamy whipped texture of the product. It was so silky and really felt like a dream going on my skin. I also really love the delicate scent. It’s not overpowering at all and just smells light and fresh.
I have to say that I was a little surprised by the immediate moisture boost that this cream gave my skin. It really penetrated my skin and made it feel plump and soft. Even after a few hours had passed, my skin still felt incredibly soft and I didn’t have any signs of that tight winter itch that usually bothers me immediately following a hot shower.
In my experience it’s best to have a great routine when it comes to keeping your skin beautiful and comfortable during the winter. I’m going to be replacing my usual moisturizer with Vaseline Intensive Care Deep Moisture Jelly Cream, and I’ll continue to use it every day following my shower to help seal in moisture and keep my skin feeling great.
If you suffer from dry skin like me, or even if you’re battling eczema, this cream is a great choice this winter. Your skin will thank you for it!
